Dr. Griffith Evans is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology and has been practicing medicine since 1982. An Omaha native and Central High graduate, he went on to earn an Associate of Science degree from the College of Saint Mary and a Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University, before attending medical school at Creighton. After receiving his medical degree, he completed two years of surgical training at Creighton University and then moved to New York to complete a residency in Anesthesiology at The State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Upon returning to Omaha in 1986, Dr. Griffith Evans began practice at Bergan Mercy Hospital. During his years there, he served as both Chairman of Anesthesiology and then Director of Pain Medicine. Dr. Evans is excited about his recent move to Momenta Pain Care. This will allow him to dedicate all of his professional time to providing comprehensive pain care to his patients and giving him the opportunity to work with his former colleague, and fellow pain management doctor, Dr. Peter Piperis.
In addition to his work at Momenta, Dr. Griffith Evans serves as the Medical Director of The Start Fresh clinic for treatment of alcohol addiction and the Medical Director of the Bergan Mercy Surgery Center. His past service work includes medical mission trips to both Central America and the Dominican Republic. Dr. Evans is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Academy of Pain. He and his wife Margaret have six children and are members of Christ the King Church.
